Buckman Labs Memphis, Tennessee

Buckman, a 70-year-old chemical solutions and processing company based in Memphis, TN, had UV lights installed in their air handler (AHU) eight years ago, for energy savings. With the current pandemic, they reached out to Tom Barrow Company and asked if it was possible to upgrade the UV fixtures to provide a stronger disinfection level light.

Tom Barrow Company partnered with Lumalier, an Evergreen UV brand, and provided a retrofit turnkey solution utilizing the AR (Adjustable Racks) series fixtures. Lumalier also provided the labor for the install for a true turnkey solution for Buckman. Because of the ease of installation of the AR series fixtures, this retrofit was completed in one afternoon.
